City Palace

Maharana Udai Singh II picked a capital for his realm close to Lake Pichola that protected the region from its adversaries. City Palace is implicit rock and marble, its complex is worth appreciating for its ideal mix of Medieval, European and Chinese design. Sajjangarh Fort

Sajjangarh Fort is a grand and dazzling castle based on the Aravalli Ridge. It was a palatial home of Maharana Sajjan Singh. The Palace gives an amazing view of the Lake Fateh Sagar, City Palace, and the King's capital, Chittorgarh. Sajjangarh Palace is built with dazzling white marble. The Royal family used the Sajjangarh Palace as a hunting lodge as well as to watch the monsoon clouds due to which it was also named “Monsoon Palace”. You can explore the hills nearby and have a taste of Udaipur delights. The sunset point is one of the most alluring sights of the Palace. During the sunset, the Palace enlightens the gleam of golden orange.

Bagore ki Haveli

One of the renowned spots to visit in Udaipur is Bagore Ki Haveli. It stands radiantly on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Built in the eighteenth century by Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime minister of Mewar realm, later Maharaj Shakti Singh ji of Bagore extended the haveli. Bagore ki Haveli is famous for its amazing design and craftsmanship that shows the noble culture of Mewar, it is a glorious collection of yards, galleries, jharokhas, brightening passages, domes and a fountain. It has around 138 rooms, the insides of the Haveli are adorned with outstanding mirror work. In the evenings, one can enjoy the cultural program which is from 7 to 8 PM. Guides are available at the grounds of Bagore ki Haveli who give knowledge of the Haveli complex at an ostensible expense.

Jagdish Temple

Right in the middle of the old city of Udaipur, standing a three-storied temple known as Jagdish Temple is a major tourist spot for travellers and matter of faith for locals. Jagdish temple has the Indo-Aryan architectural style. It has beautifully carved pillars, big breezy lobbies and painted walls that are enhanced with dynamic tones and embellished roofs. The main temple is 32 steps from the entry and has a four-armed picture of Lord Vishnu, cut out from one piece of dark stone. There is no ticket required on the entry of the temple as it is open to all. Jagdish Temple doors open in two shifts, the first shift starts at 4:15 promptly toward the beginning of the day till 1 PM. The subsequent shift begins from 5:15 PM till 8 PM in the late evening.

Shrinath ji Temple

Shrinathji Temple is situated in the Nathdwara district, in the upper east area of Udaipur. The Shrinathji Temple is a significant Lord Bal Krishna temple, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. The figure of Shrinathji is made on a stone monument out of dark stone. According to the legends, in around twelfth century BC, the stone of the icon self-appeared from the Govardhan Mountain. The temple has planned a specific daily schedule for Shrinathji, considered as a custom to meet and welcome the God. The function incorporates eight phases, and the temple is opened for individuals during these stages. The ceremonial starts at 5:15 towards the beginning of the day and finishes at 7:30 in the evening. The temple is the home of Lord Krishna which is open to all. There is no entry fee to visit Shrinathji temple.

Ekling ji Temple

Eklingji Temple was built in the eighth century by ruler Bappa Rawal, later Rana Kumbha renovated it by adding the Vishnu temple. The temple is situated in the Kailashpuri locale of Udaipur. Eklingji Temple has a brilliant architecture. The temple is double storied with huge pyramidal style rooftop and amazingly carved tower. The four-faced idol of Lord Shiva or Eklingji is put in the primary temple. The sculpture is set in a transcending pillared lobby called a mandap. The idol is around 50 feet tall and is made from dark stone. The four-faced figure portrays four distinct types of Lord Shiva. The Eklingji Temple is opened in three shifts. Temple Timings are from 4:30 am to 7 am in the morning, then from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and in the evening from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.

Lake Pichola

3 miles long, 2 miles in width and a profundity of 30 feet is Lake Pichola, an artificial lake built in the period of 1362 AD by Pichhu Banjara. The enamouring lake pulled in Maharana Udai Singh, so he laid out the city of Udaipur around it. Popular attractions in the lake are Lake Palace and city palace that sit directly in the centre of the lake. An excursion to Lake Pichola is incomplete without a boat ride in the peaceful lake. There is no entry fee to visit Lake Pichola. Nonetheless, for a boat ride in Lake Pichola during daytime and evenings, the tickets are evaluated at Rs. 400 for Adults and Rs. 200 for Children. For Sunset boat ride, the ticket expense is Rs.700 for Adults and Rs.400 for youngsters. Timings of Lake Pichola are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on all days of the week. For Boating in Lake Pichola, the opening time is 10:00 am and closing time is 5:00 pm.
